Elizabeth Edwards is now legally separated from her philandering husband, John Edwards, who admitted on Jan. 21 that he fathered a daughter by campaign videographer Rielle Hunter in 2008, reports CNN. The 56-year-old former Democratic presidential candidate issued a statement today, Jan. 27, calling his separation, “an extraordinarily sad moment, but I love my children more than anything and still care deeply about Elizabeth.” Read more
