Help? Who needs it? Lady Gaga makes magic happen all on her own!

Lady Gaga and her producer, RedOne, may have watched Mean Girls a few too many times lately. After winning two Grammys for Best Dance Recording and Best Electronic/Dance Album, Lady Gaga‘s wing man, RedOne, says he and Gaga won’t be expanding their exclusive circle of two any time soon.

“Gaga writes and I produce and write, so we don’t need anyone else honestly,” the Moroccan-Swedish producer and songwriter said all superior-like backstage at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Jan. 30 in Los Angeles. “Me and her, we’re just magic. It just flows.”

Before we could write him off as a cocky you-know-what, he explained just how magical his work with Gaga, 23, truly is — their award-winning “Best Dance Recording” hit ‘Poker Face’ took ONE hour to write.

“I don’t know why,” RedOne said, humbly. “It was just boom, boom, you know?”

Yeah, Boom Boom POW. That’s a Black Eyed Peas song. You running low on inspiration, buddy? You might want to expand that circle soon!

Which is enetrily ironic, for the reason that I?ve spent a lot of time over the past few months studying what it takes on the road to make people note lying on my own website

Nope. HollywoodLife, the tone of this article is one of envy. Let’s review: So, a happy and talented guy, who is at the top of his game, and blessed to be working with Gaga, says they do great work together? So what? More power to them. I am 50 years old. When I was a teen I listened to Elton John and David Bowie. My kids were listening to schlock until suddenly, on the horizon, there appeared a brilliant new light. And that is the light of originality and spirit and energy and ambition and love. Oh. And creativity. So please, don’t make a poorly informed decision on Gaga. I was just getting to know your site. Maybe now I shouldn’t bother.

Yeah, pretty sure the phrase “boom boom” was in use BEFORE the BEP song. Yet another nonsensical and bizarre comparison drawn by the not-too-bright staff at Hollywood Life. Keep up the sophmoric, lowest-common-denominator work!

Redone’s work is great. And, Gaga and he have made great pop music together. At the same time, it’s good for any artist to work with more than one producer over time. Gaga had several producers on the Fame Monster, and has worked with different video directors. She has shown that she’s not dependent on any one producer or director. Also, for any artist to evolve, they need to explore their creativity. I think working with just one producer could inhibit an artist’s growth. Certainly, no collaboration should be tossed out for the sake of something different. If hope she continues to work with him so long as it’s fruitful. But, Redone needs to loosen up a bit. He’s sounding possessive. I hope he honors what’s best for Gaga and her art.
