You Loved The Grammys! The Awards Show Got Its Highest Ratings In Six Years!
So many of you watched the Grammy Awards On Jan. 31! Hello, music industry — big stars pull in big ratings!
The numbers are in and there’s no disputing it — the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards brought in 25.8 million TV viewers on Sunday night! That’s the highest the show’s ratings have been since 2004! With huge performances by Lady Gaga, Beyonce, The Black Eyed Peas, and nominees like Rihanna, and Taylor Swift, The Grammys really brought out the big guns for this year’s show on CBS!
Viewership has been steadily climbing, but the Jan. 31 awards pulled in the top slot Sunday night, beating out ABC’s 9.1 million viewers, and Fox’s 4.3 million viewers in the 8 – 10 pm slots.
Sorry Kim Kardashian, despite your efforts, the Grammys beat your show too!
