Pretty much every big name in the music industry gathered yesterday to re-record Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie’s “We Are the World.”
Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson co-wrote the charity single together in 1985. Music powerhouses like Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, and Pink belted alongside the Jonas Brothers and Tony Bennett, for the cause.The proceeds from the A-list musical collaboration will benefit the Haiti earthquake relief. The video is scheduled to air February 12th, during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics.
