As if beer and hot wings weren’t enough, here’s another reason to tune in on Super Bowl Sunday. Michael Sorrentino — you know him, or at least his abs, as “The Situation” from from the out-of-nowhere hit reality show, Jersey Shore — is set to star in a commercial with football legend Peyton Manning.
“ON way to LA 2morr to do LEno n ELlen – then its off to MIami to shoot commercial w Peyton MAnning for SUperbowl,” the 27-year-old exotic dancer turned gym assistant tweeted late night Feb. 2.
We have two questions. What company thinks “The Situation” is the perfect spokesperson for its product? And doesn’t 33-year-old Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning seem like a random sidekick?
