EXCLUSIVE: Casey Aldridge’s Uncle Odus Tells HollywoodLife.com, ‘Casey’s Split With Jamie Lynn Spears is a Tough Situation’

Breaking up is hard to do, isn’t it?

Splitting up with your respective other isn’t typically a peaceful, happy occurrence, so we’re fairly unsurprised that Casey Aldridge isn’t taking his separation from baby mama Jamie Lynn Spears all that well.

“It’s a tough situation, what they are going through, for sure. But it always has been,” Casey’s uncle, Miss. based pastor Odus Jackson, tells HollywoodLife.com. “They’re so young. [Our family] is always concerned about what’s happening with them.”

Odus notes that Jamie Lynn, 18, and Casey, 20, may have been having problems as early as November of last year. “The last time I saw that together was just before Thanksgiving. They were at his parents’ house with [their daughter, 19-month-old baby Maddie]. They weren’t interacting all that much but at least they were together.”

He adds, “The last time I saw [Maddie] was around Christmas. She stayed with [Casey’s] mom and dad. They love her, so they took her for the holiday while Casey and Jamie Lynn were off separately. They often take her for the weekend or a few days.”

But what will Casey do now that Jamie Lynn has moved on with a much older guy, 28-year-old businessman James Watson?

“He won’t be leaving [Mississippi],” says Odus. “He’s still working on construction projects.” He adds, “I just wish them the best. I know it’s hard.”
