Emily Blunt on Keeping Love Alive: ‘Don’t Kiss And Tell!’

Some wise words of wisdom from a woman in the know. Trust Emily – she IS engaged to John Krasinski, after all!
When it comes to her relationship with The Office hottie John Krasinski, British rose Emily Blunt knows to keep her lips zipped. She definitely ain’t no Kiss’N’Tellin’ Helen, which sucks for us because we want to know as much as possible about the gorgeous couple’s impending nuptials.
“Don’t be a chatty Cathy about it! I think that’s the secret,” The Wolfman star, 26, who likes to keep her love on lockdown, told PopEater Feb. 8. “It’s vital. It’s the whole deal — you have to have a dual existence.”
We’re pretty sure we know what Em is saying here – that we should never, ever expect her to plop down in the makeup chair and start rattling off about her ol’ ball n’ chain on set any day soon. HollyBummer.
But just because won’t catch Emily gnawing anyone’s ear off about her relationship highs and lows, she does realize there’s a certain level of public interest. “You have the acting side of it and the business life, and even doing press junkets and stuff, there’s an element of performance in it,” says the starlet, who adds, “I think that’s the secret — just make the divide, and make it clear to you.”
We have to say we’re pretty impressed by Emily’s lock and key policy. When we’re in love, we like to shout it from the rooftops! However, we do know that nothing makes a guy run the opposite way faster than a Stage 5 clinger!
