Who would have thought a visit to the dentist could get you out of going to jail!
Rapper Lil Wayne isn’t headed to the slammer just yet! He was supposed to be sentenced to one year in jail Feb. 9 stemming from a 2007 arrest, but a trip to the dentist saved his behind! A judge at the Manhattan Supreme Court has decided to let Lil Wayne (real name: Dwayne Carter) go to his Feb. 12 dental appointment to get his teeth fixed and by the looks of it we’re guessing he probably needs it. This isn’t the first time the artist has used his grill as an excuse. His new court date is March 2nd and he must be there by 2:15pm no excuses! Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in October of 2009.
