Who Do You Think Should Be Cast When ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ Gets a Major Remake?
Although it’s hard to top the movie that brought the world the beast that is Brangelina, producers sure are going to try. But who should fill their gorgeous shoes?
Yeah, you’re reading this right. Producers actually think they can improve upon the perfection that is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt when Mr. And Mrs. Smith gets a just-for-twentysomethings-reboot. Although Oscar-winning producer Akiva Goldsman is still in the early stages of development for his remake, one thing is clear, he plans to stick to the tried and true formula of two hot, young stars!
Let us refresh your memory. In the 2005 version, Brad, 46 and Angelina, 34 portrayed secret agents John and Jane Smith, an otherwise mild-mannered couple unaware that their missions in life were to kill the other. In the current project, known temporarily as Mr. And Mrs. Jones, we go to the very beginning to see how the young spies are set up to become a faux married couple.
Since Brad and Angie will be sitting this one out, just who could possibly take the place of the hottest couple on earth? Leave it to Hollywoodlife.com to have some ideas!
The obvious choices are Chris Pine and Megan Fox. Chris, 30, has already shown us his sexy magnetism and ability to blow stuff up in Star Trek, while Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen starlet, Megan, 24, has proven that she can go toe-to-toe with big baddies!
If that doesn’t float your speedboat, Mr. Goldsman, might we also suggest Iron Man 2 star Olivia Munn, 29, perhaps paired with the other Star Trek hunk, 26-year-old Aussie Chris Hemsworth? We’d even like to see what kind of chemistry Twilight star Kellan Lutz and Scarlett Johannson could cook up on-screen! He’s got the muscles and she’s got the killer body.

umm, it’s not a remake. but that’s a good way to get people to read your post i guess. it sounds like it’s a prequel from your write-up. i could care less who plays the lead roles, though i think megan fox is an uninteresting choice. kristen stewart would top that. shia’s a good option as one of your readers suggested. he’s hot and a great actor. not just cute, but hot.

I think Ryan Reynolds and Emily Blunt would be perfect.. They can both be funny and serious. And they are both in great shape. Hot Hot Hot

Now that would be hot! (and quite funny)
I would like to see Jensen Ackles with Jessica Alba.In Dark Angel they performed well.

I think Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf would be the perfect fit for the remake of Mr & Mrs Smith. They already have the couple-charisma for action shots, look good together and have a sense of humor and class while doing playing the roles.
