Most Hollywood starlets would consider parting their hair in the center a major risk, not Mena Suvari!
Forget about playing it safe, Mena Suvari has hit New York Fashion Week with some seriously out there hair. She went for a super severe, sumo wrestler-inspired bun on Feb. 12 for the Christian Siriano show. The next day, Mena went for the bird’s nest look at the alice + olivia presentation on Feb. 13. I had the pleasure of seeing this creation in person and boy, was it kooky. More than a few passersby had not so nice things to say about her teased out hair. For the Rebecca Taylor show on Feb. 14, Mena went for a classic, Brigitte Bardot-inspired pony, a drastic improvement from her bird disaster. And finally, (finally!) Mena totally redeemed herself at the Jill Stuart runway show on Feb. 15 with a pretty, half-up, half-down curly ‘do. Looks like the fourth time’s the charm for Mena!

I love all the styles but I really love the Feb 13th hair. It’s edgy and not playing it safe (aka boring) which is perfect for Fashion week.
