Finally after dating for three years and having two little babies, Joel Madden & Nicole Richie are getting engaged!

They have two gorgeous babies together – Harlow, 2, and Sparrow 5 months — and now Nicole Richie, 28, and Joel Madden, 30 made their relationship offish by getting engaged!

Life & Style reports that Nicole, who is wearing a HUGE rock on her ring finger, was accepting congratulations on her engagement to Joel on Monday, Feb. 15, in NYC.  The couple has been dating for around three years, and have been the subject of engagement and even wedding reports in the past.

Some reports say Joel tweeted, “Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same” — but either the reports are false or Joel took the messages down because there is no mention of it on his page now! 

Either way, what a great Valentine’s Day gift for Nicole!
