Isaac Mizrahi has called the First Lady, the “Carrie Bradshaw of the next 10 years”, and she wore his eggplant “bipartisan ” dress to the recent State of the Union ‘A-Dress’.

So it’s no surprise he was eager to talk about her backstage at his Feb 18, Fall 2010 fashion show. ” I definitely had her in mind ” he admits, when he was creating his new collection, . ” ” She thinks about color, she thinks about her body and she NEVER makes a mistake”, he says, while pointing to photos of new outfits that he thinks would be O perfect. While he’s met the First Lady before the election and has been invited- lucky guy – to the White House several times, he hasn’t been able to take up the Mrs. yet on any of her invitations. Watch my interview with Isaac, who describes his new collection as a “mix of Upper East Side and a camping trip”, see the video of his show and a gallery of Michelle in her Mizrahis!
