Who knew that Ashley Olsen got her design start working as an intern for Tommy Hilfiger?
That’s what I found out talking to Tommy after his best show and collection ever last night, Feb.18th. Ashley of course, is now a design veteran herself with two of her own collections which she creates with twin sis Mary-Kate Olsen: The Row and Elizabeth & James.
The loyal Ashley was just one member of the star-packed Tommy front row including Penn Badgley, Hayden Panettiere, Ed Westwick, Rosario Dawson and Brooke Shields — who all turned out in Tommy Hilfiger. Tommy reminded me that he’s always been inspired by celebrities, and discovers them using his ad campaigns. “We shot Britney Spears when she was 17 years old, on the day that her single ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ was released,” he said.
