Sorry, Blake Lively! After The O.C., Adam Brody will never go back to TV dramas like Gossip Girl!

Adam Brody is over his The O.C. character Seth Cohen!  The super cute actor talked EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com at the premiere of Cop Out in NYC on Feb. 23 and told us, “I really like comedy. I’d like to keep doing that! Being in a sitcom seems like fun — and schedule-wise, it’s easier as well.”

Brody has moved to the big screen, but has still landed more serious roles in Jennifer’s Body, and In the Land Of Women. But his teen drama days are LONG gone!  We asked if he would ever consider doing a guest spot Gossip Girl … his answer? “Probably not … no!”

Still, he’s going to be part of Hollywood for a long time, and even wants to dabble in screenwriting. “I can’t imagine going my whole life as an actor and not trying to have control of the camera just once,” Adam admits. “It seems like a blast!” – Chloe Melas
