Is the more elegant Olsen twin finally settling leaving the City of Angels and settling down in the Big Apple for good?

It looks like Ashley Olsen may officially be giving up La-La Land for the Fashion Capital of America, New York City. The diminutive blond is pulling up roots and selling the last bit of property that connects her to her child actress past in California.

The 23-year-old twin, who currently designs the clothing lines The Row and Elizabeth & James, has listed her 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, Spanish-style home on the outskirts of Hollywood at the asking price of $1,399,000, reports the Real Estalker.

Ash bought the 2,332 square-foot villa back in December, 2007 for $1,575,000, so apparently even an Olsen has fallen victim to the weak economy. If you want her place, it’s a steal, given that the home is walled and gated to prevent looky-loos and features a raised swimming pool. Sweet!

Both Ashley and her twin sister, Mary-Kate, have spent the last six years residing in NYC’s Greenwich Village, but this was the last bit of LA – and her acting past – that she’s managed to hold on to. Does this mean the girls are becoming permanent New Yorkers?
