022310_sheen_mueller_82007667_XXXXNew reports have surfaced that the Two and a Half Men star was forced into rehab.

Charlie Sheen checked into a rehab facility around midnight Feb. 23 for substance abuse, just days after his wife Brooke Mueller entered a Malibu rehab center  Feb. 9 — she has sense left. “As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility,” said Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfield. “He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned.” But Radaronline reports that Charlie didn’t want to go to rehab and that those in Sheen’s camp pushed him to check into a facility. “Charlie didn’t want to go,” a source confessed to  Radaronline. It’s also being reported that Charlie entered rehab for a relapse with drugs and alcohol.

When it was first announced Charlie had entered rehab Radaronline reports that Sheen went into hiding for six hours. It was then that those close to Charlie did everything they could to get him to check himself in.

The taping of Two and a Half Men has been halted, and Sheen who gets paid $800,000 per episode (more than any other TV actor) didn’t show up to work Feb. 23. Charlie has a court date in Aspen, Co., set for March 15 stemming from his charges of felony menacing, third-degree assault and criminal mischief that took place early Dec. 25. It’s unknown whether his stay in rehab will interfere with showing up to court.

“We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter,” said CBS, show producer and show creator Chuck Lorre.

$800,000 an episode is he really worth that much money. It seems like every actor/actress in Hollywood has too many problems battling drugs and alcohol abuse and misuse. STOP paying these people so much money whent the rest of us US people continue to suffer in a bad ecomony.

I they had real lives, with real bills and made normal salaries like the rest of us then they wouldn’t have time to spend $ on drugs and alcohol. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

I have heard this argument so many times. The reason that Hollywood stars make so much money, is because they generate that much money.

TV shows are paid by the amount of advertisments that play during their time slot. The more popular the show, the more the advertisers are willing to pay to have their commercials shown during that time slot. Why is that? Because the advertisers know that a lot of people tune in during that time slot. So they know a lot more people will see their commercials, thus generating more income for them.

That show is largely popular because Charlie Sheen is on the show. So lets say that his part in the show generates $100,000,000 per year for the network. Doesn’t he deserve part of that?

It’s the same thing with movie actors. Now you know damn well that people don’t go to see a movie for any other reason than to see the actors do their thing. Or to see whatever creature has been created this week. With the exception of a couple of directors.

Let’s take AVATAR for example, it has grossed over a billion dollars world wide and counting. So James Cameron doesn’t deserve a chunk of that, since it was his brainchild? By the way, all of his movies do very well. So the way that it works is, once you have been deemed bankable by the industry like he has, you can pretty much name your price. The reason being is, the studio knows that they are going to make more money off of you than you will off of them in the end. But you’ll both be rich. It’s good business.

Will Smith,is now the biggest grossing actor of all time, his movies have generated billions. They generated that much because he was in them and no other reason. He deserves a percentage of that.

You can be bitter, and lie to yourself. It’s not their fault, its OURS. If we stop going to movies, and stop watching televison, their salaries will go down significantly. Their jobs, just like everyone elses in the WORLD are not based on how hard it is. It is based on productivity and HOW MUCH MONEY THEY GENERATE.

So if you are responsible for generating billions and billions of dollars, the least they can do is allow you to make a few million off of that. It’s the same thing for musicians, and sports figures. They make a lot of money yes. But they also generate a lot more money than they actually make. And they do that because we continue to line their pockets. We are directly responsible for why famous people get paid what they do.

Once you understand how it works, you can’t be mad at them. If you generated billions of dollars for your industry or wherever you work, you would expect a rather large paycheck as well. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t because you would. It is one hundred percent fair play. It’s also mathematically correct as well.

Everything is sales, and everything is based on a percentage of what you bring in. Hollywood, is no different than any other business. Think of actors as sales people. They make a percentage off of every sale that they make. What they happen to be selling, are movie tickets. That’s the only difference. TV actors sell viewers, so that companies want to advertise in their time slot. Sports figures sell tickets and viewers. Musicians sell tickets, radio (which works the same way as television), movies and albums. Hollywood is fair business to a certain extent. If you are generating billions for your company and not making millions in turn, you need to choose a different career path.

Don’t be angry at those who have chosen a more lucrative one. You need to look at their payscale for what it really is. Don’t just be irritated because they have a lot more zeros at the end of their paycheck. The truth is, we are to blame, not them. We are the consumers.

Ghee this is strange the man is right on the top of a news breaking story about non-lethal weapons and min cotrol technology, that is linked to the government. This technology has the capasity to make a person do things they would not normally do. So I wonder what really happened.

Another great reaseon Hollywood is a joke…they can just “enter rehab’ but all of us regular folks end up on Cops and go to jail. Go figure. Down with the entertaimnent industry! Go have some quality time with your family and turn off the TV.
