We’re totally with you on keeping our favorite shop-a-holics around forever, John. But darling, you should really know, the proper term is vintage.
Here’s the good news: John Corbett – who played Sarah Jessica Parker’s worker-man boyfriend Aidan Shaw on the iconic HBO series Sex and the City, thinks the ladies will keep filming until Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are old and gray. The bad news? Well, we already know that. Aidan won’t be returning to SATC 2, 3, or 3000 (or so he says).
“I think [SATC] will go on and on until [the ladies] are old bag ladies, to say the least, they’ll be in wheelchairs!” John, 48, joked to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Writers Guild Awards in Los Angeles Feb. 20. He added, “But yeah, I’m absolutely sure it will happen!”
We know that when John refers to ‘old’, he’s talking about vintage Halston, Chanel or Louis Vuitton – Carrie and the girls would accept nothing less, right?
John added that rumors he would be coming back to act alongside SJP, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, are just that, sadly: rumors. “No, no, I’ve heard rumors, but it’s just not happening,” he told us.
Ugh. HollyBummer if we ever heard one! We guess we’ll just have to settle for Mr. Big….
