Sneak Peek! Check Out These Three New Clips From Tim Burton’s ‘Alice In Wonderland’
Off with her head? We hope not! We can’t wait to see more of Alice and her crew in Tim Burton’s wacky live-action revamp of Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s book
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would,” Alice (of Wonderland) says in Tim Burton’s version of Lewis Carroll’s classic novel. And yeah, that pretty much sums up the movie itself.
The creatures and people of Wonderland get the full Burton treatment, and succumb to his particular brand of whimsy. In these three clips from the film – which hits theaters March 5 – Mad Hatter Johnny Depp (looking all Edward Scissorhands-meets-Sweeney Todd) takes Alice, played by newcomer Mia Wasikowska, to his rather unconventional tea party
Red Queen Helena Bonham Carter awesomely condemns a spineless toad to death (Off with his head!
while White Queen Anne Hathaway concocts a potion for Alice that shrinks way more than her waistline.
In other words, Alice in Wonderland looks totally freakin’ awesome. We can’t wait! Can you?
