Sandra Bullock certainly has plenty of support as she prepares for the one of the biggest nights of her life March 7 – the night she could potentially win her very first Academy Award. And there’s no one that thinks the 45-year-old actress deserves an Oscar more than her onscreen son – and new bestie – Quinton Aaron.
“I know [The Blind Side] is up against nine other movies, but I hope that Sandra wins for best actress!” Quinton told Hollywoodlife.com Feb. 23 at the Movieguide Gala Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. “I believe she deserves it, especially for as long as she’s been grinding in the business.”
The 25-year-old actor says that he keeps in touch with his movie mom as much as he can, and was beyond ecstatic when he caught up with her after the Golden Globe Awards recently. “I congratulated her on her nomination and her previous wins. I knew she would do it! I gave her all my love; I definitely keep in touch with her,” he confirmed.
Working on the family drama that’s pulled in nearly $250 million helped create a special bond between Quinton and Sandra, 45, which is something that he just simply did not expect. “I think [the film succeeded] because no one expected a family movie [at the time], especially one with such a dramatic tone. So it kind of…fits the way the movie is titled, it was a ‘blind side.”
