US Speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno Took Home Bronze Last Night! It’s His Eighth Medal!

Even with a disqualification, Apolo had a heck of a night!

US speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno, 27, already set the world record for most Olympic medals won by a US athlete in the winter games, but he took that record even further Feb. 26 by winning one more! Apolo took home the bronze medal in the men’s 5,000-meter relay race, bringing his incredible Olympic medal total to eight. But his Olympic journey wasn’t without some misfortune. Earlier in the evening, Apolo was disqualified from the 500-meter men’s speedskating final competition for allegedly touching the hip of Canadian skater Francois-Louis Tremblay and knocking him into the wall during an intense turn. Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Touched Down In New York Last Night!

Rob & Kristen (aka “Robsten”) were spotted at JFK airport!

Looks like Rob Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, arrived in New York just in time to miss the big blizzard — or did their arrival cause it to stop? Either way, the lovebirds were spotted landing at John F. Kennedy airport on Feb. 26 along with Rob’s longtime friend, actor Tom Sturridge. And although nothing earth shattering occured during the trio’s trip through the crowded airport, eyewitnesses did get to see one pretty adorable sight: Rob was carrying what looks like one of Kristen’s bags for her! We wonder what Bill & Barack had to say to the golfer?

It looks like not everyone in the country is taking a stand against philandering golfer Tiger Woods! According to a recent Golf Digest article, Tiger recently received phone calls from two unlikely sources — President Barack Obama and former president Bill Clinton! (OK, Bill may not be as big a surprise considering his familiarity with Tiger’s situation.) The article claims that both Bill and Barack offered words of encouragement to Tiger as he struggles through sex rehab and the current media frenzy. Read more & vote!

Can you believe funny man Jim Carrey, 48, is a grandpa now? His daughter Jane, 22, gave birth to a baby boy named Jackson Riley Santana on Feb. 26, and Jim couldn’t stop himself from tweeting his excitement! “This is what 7lbs. 11oz. of Calfornia dynomite looks like!” he tweeted, along with an adorable photo of baby Jackson. This is Jane’s first child with husband and fellow musician Alex Santana, who she married in Nov. 2009. Read more
