Charlie Sheen’s Former ‘Two And A Half Men’ Costar Speaks Out! ‘The Side I Saw Of Charlie Was Kind’

Kelly Stables — who once starred with Charlie Sheen on his hit CBS show — says she never saw the actor lash out.
If Charlie Sheen has a violent past, it’s one that he keeps hidden from his co-workers. Charlie’s co-star on Two and a Half Men, Kelly Stables tells Chris Yandek of CYInterview,”He couldn’t have been cooler and nicer to me” when they worked together on set.
Charlie allegedly threatened wife Brooke Mueller with a knife on Dec. 25, resulting in two felony charges. Since, Charlie has entered rehab for drug and alcohol addiction. But Kelly says that she was never witness to any of that behavior. “Charlie showed up on time [to work],” says Kelly. “[He] knew [his] lines. There was no ego on the set.”
In fact, Kelly says, Charlie was warm and welcoming towards her. “He never said a mean thing to me,” says Kelly. “He’s very supportive. He was very kind to me as a matter of fact. The side I saw of Charlie was kind, was professional, was supportive, was sunny and regardless of the degree of people’s faults we all have faults big and small.”
Charlie and his wife Brooke are reportedly “miserable” and heading for divorce, but Kelly realizes how hard it is to be a celebrity. “It’s very hard for someone to be in the public eye and to have their faults just broadcasted everywhere,” confesses Kelly.
“He couldn’t have been cooler and nicer to me. And you hear horror stories about how it is on other sets or someone talking down to other people, but it was a great, great experience.” —Chloe Melas
