DKNY Makes Shapewear That’s Meant To Be Seen! Will You Wear It?

From runway to reality, would you let your slimming shapewear show?
I don’t know about you, but the majority of gals I know would be embarrassed at the thought of someone seeing them in their spanx — but DKNY wants to change that! When I first saw these visible body shapers popping out under shorts and dresses on the DKNY spring 2010 runway, I couldn’t figure out why models were sent out with their shapers were showing, but it looks like it was an attempt at a new trend! On Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr, they look like colored leggings that add a little flair to her outfit, but in reality, they’re working to smooth and shape. The bodyshapers, DKNY smoothies, cost $15 and come in three different lengths, short, hi waist short, and capri style, and come in colors sugar free (nude), blackberry (black), raspberry, orange crush, kiwi, blueberry, and berry burst.

It may be cute on some folks**read those who don’t really need body shaping anyway**to wear as an accent peek-a-boo piece, but other folks should just wear it as it is meant to be worn.

These body shapers are awesome. Will be a great complement to two of my favorite shapewear pieces from Slimpressions. “The Haves” and “Tanks a Little” Incredible pieces. Fantastic shapewear. Effective and fashionable and best yet…comfortable!
