Jen Aniston — Why Aren’t You Going to the Oscars with Gerard!?

HollywoodLife.com has learned that Jennifer Aniston won’t be going to Sunday’s Oscars ceremony — even though Gerard is presenting, and they have a movie coming out in just TWO weeks. Weird, right?
Jennifer Aniston is a fixture at the Academy Awards, but this year the actress won’t be showing up for the ceremony, HollywoodLife.com has just learned.
And here’s what’s weird about Jen ditching the show: You’d think she’d be all over the Oscars to promote her big new movie with Gerard Butler, The Bounty Hunter, which comes out in two weeks, on Mar. 19.
What’s more, she and Gerard were just spotted hooking up as recently as the Golden Globes on Jan. 17 — and he was part of her 41st birthday crew down in Los Cabos just a month ago.
So what happened in between? Has the magic between them waned? Is she worried about bumping into ex-hubby Brad and Angelina, who may or may not be going to the Oscars?

You would NEVER guess that Bonnie Fuller is formerly of US Magazine, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. Oh how the mighty has fallen.

She’s not going because Brad Pitt won’t be there. She’s also not going because she is dateless (again). She’s probably embarassed (again) that Gerard Butler wouldn’t move in with her when she asked him to (desperate woman) and won’t consider her a serious thing.

I suspect Gerard Butler has better things to do than watch the fickle handle of Fate as it masturbates the egos a chosen few on national television, when he could be at home, playing a drinking game with his mates.

“Fixture”. Jen attended in 2006 and 2009. Doesn’t always go but supports and attends The Night Before charity and attends other parties and works on the planning committee. But then you wouldn’t have a nasty little story, would you, if you checked out facts. My comment won’t make it but made me feel good.

Jennifer and Gerry have said over and over that they are just friends and Co-Stars and there is no reason not to believe them. It has been said the Brad is going to attend the Oscars without Angiglina and I think Jennifer would not want to be there because she knows the Tabs and bloggers would go wild over her being there and you know the crap they would write about them. Good example–your above story. I’m pretty sure you won’t print this comment.

I totally agree with What Tea said.
I think Jen’s made the best decision not to attend Oscars.
People should leave Jen alone. Don’t be so nasty.
