Was the recent change in Simon Cowell‘s attitude — from tough and angry to almost sweet — seemingly has everything to do with his new love, Mezghan Hussainy!

“You just know when you’ve found somebody special and I feel very, very happy,” Cowell told his Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan during an interview for Piers Morgan’s Life Stories: Simon Cowell in the U.K., scheduled to air Mar. 7.   He even admits he’s “smitten” with Mezghan.  Obviously! He bought her the biggest ring ever!

“You confuse lust with love, you know, when you’re in your teens and stuff like that,” Cowell says. “It’s a difficult thing to describe other than you know it when you are.”  Awww, Simon! You are a bowl of mush!
