EXCLUSIVE! Evan Lysacek Admits His Fears About ‘Dancing With The Stars!’

The Olympic gold medalist is a huge fan of fellow competitors Kate Gosselin and Nicole Scherzinger!
Fresh off his big win at the winter Olympics, Evan Lysacek, 24, is already stressing out over his next major competition: Dancing with the Stars! “It’s so much harder and so much more challenging than I thought,” he confessed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively March 5 at OK! Magazine and Keri Hilson‘s pre-Oscars bash at Beso in Hollywood. “I have so much respect for all these professional dancers because they are incredible athletes. I’ve learned one thing as a competitor, and that’s never rule anyone out of a competition.”
As for his fellow dancers, Evan says he honestly thinks everyone has an equal shot at this point. He has especially high expectations for America’s most famous mom, Kate Gosselin! “She’s really nice and really graceful, which was kind of impressive to me,” he told us. “You should look at her. We did a photo shoot altogether as couples and I was like, ‘Whoa!’ She was like posing she was like a pro-dancer, so she might have the moves.”
He also has lots of respect for Nicole Scherzinger, 31, who he refers to as “the most incredible dancer of all time,” and Buzz Aldrich, 80, who he says is “a hero… in incredible shape.”
Evan’s experience on the ice has clearly made him into a gracious and respectful competitor. Let’s see if he can keep his cool when the real pressure is on. Evan, if you thought the Olympics were tough, you haven’t seen anything yet!
