EXCLUSIVE! Kelly Bensimon Told Us She Loved Posing Naked For Playboy!
Kelly says her nude photo spread is good for her image! Do you agree?
Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon confessed that she loved every naked minute of her Playboy photoshoot for the magazine’s March 2010 issue! And she believes it wasn’t just a victory for her, but for all the women on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City. Kelly spoke with HollywoodLife.com on March 4 at Countess LuAnn‘s season 3 premiere party in New York and she said her shoot is “a really big deal for the show! It really raises the bar. It shows that we’re actually these women doing really amazing things.”
And when she stripped down, she admitted it felt wonderful! “It was really, really exciting and incredibly humbling,” she said enthusiastically. “Let’s be honest, you’re naked. You’re raw. You’re open to interpretation of good, bad, or ugly. … I think the nice thing for me is that I’m 41 years old and have two kids and I spent my life being athletic, eating well and really taking care of myself. I’m not the colonic queen. You’re not going to see me as a vegetarian. I’m a normal American girl. I think it’s a nice thing to see … someone that’s healthy and normal.”
And even though Kelly enjoyed the shoot, the initial clothes-shedding process made her nervous. “To be honest, I’m incredibly shy,” she admitted. “I’m the same way as a model. When you’re posing, it’s not like I think I’m a temptress. I have the luxury of working with my ex husband who loves me, so that [made] me feel better, but I am a very, very shy person.”
