Miley has a wild side and Liam seems way more reserved. Do you think they’ll last?

Finally! Miley Cyrus has introduced her The Last Song co-star, Liam Hemsworth, as her boyfriend at long last! But the two teenage stars seem to have completely different temperaments. How long can they make their love last?

When we walked into the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar party March 7 we saw the 17-year-old Hannah Montana starlet hamming it up at a center table with Nicole Richie and her fiancé, Joel Madden. Making our way through the party, we were surprised to see Miley’s man Liam, 18, chatting to a statuesque blond in the corner. Huh? Why weren’t they together?

Only when Grace Jones started performing did Liam make his way into the main room at West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center, but stood off to the side chatting to a friend while Miley got her freak on at the table.

And we are talking – freaky deaky dancing. She and a blond gal pal shook their moneymakers and their ta-tas, learning forward and backward, acting all crazy-like and making a scene – in a good, fun way.

But when Liam wasn’t paying any attention, Miley walked over to her BF, slipped underneath his arm and hugged him, eventually dragging him to the table while he sat, and she danced. Failing to evoke a response, she slid her arms around his neck, kissed him and then sat on his lap – quietly.

After awhile, the hunky Australian actor seemed to get restless and the two argued for a few seconds before Liam got up and wandered into another room; Miley continued to sit, chill and have fun with her friends.
