Kristen Stewart looked stunning on the red carpet at the Oscars on Mar. 7. The Twilight beauty can thank her amazing glam squad, Jillian Dempsey, Global Creative Color Director for Avon and Fekkai celebrity hair stylist Renato Campora for her sophisticated yet totally Kristen look.
“Kristen’s look was edgy glam, with a clean and youthful feeling,” Jillian says. “We played up her eyes with heavy liner and lots of lush mascara. Her eye shadow was a shimmering, midnight quartz, complemented by peach lips.”
“I wanted to go for a modern, edgy look with a young vibe,” Renato says. To get her look, Renato applied volumizing mousse to her strands and blew it dry. Then, he used a 1-inch curling iron to create waves. For added texture, he used a dry shampoo. Then, he tied back loose braids on the sides of her head and pulled them into a low chignon, securing them with large bobby pins. - Marta Topran

I’m still trying to figure out what is sooooo stunning about her look. She’s very plain!!! Really, she looks like any average 19 year old that can be found at every mall across America. I bet some of the 19 year old girls out there could also act better too. She might have had the mommy/daddy connections to get her career started but she’s got a lot to learn if she wants to stay around. Stop feeding us bull/s*** about some young girl that still invests in Oxy cream and show us some of beautiful WOMEN that are in Hollywood.

Totally agree. She looks good but not stunning. Also, she always looks like it took so much effort for her to be some place and get her photo taken. If it is too much for her then she should step aside and give the job to someone who will actually enjoy themselves and appreciate how lucky they are.

I think the “stunning” part was less about her look and more about the CHANGE from what we normally see. She’s always so grungey and depressing. It was great to see her looking totally glam!!
