Does any dog, even Oprah‘s deserve its own entourage?
Well, whether you think so or not, Oprah‘s cocker spaniel Sadie, age 1, had a seven-person entourage yesterday, March 8 in LA. This ultra-pampered pooch, arrived by limousine at the the Kodak Theatre in LA, where Oprah was filming her post-Oscar special. Then, the delicate doggy was carried inside accompanied by SEVEN assistants/ security people? personal pooch handlers!
Sadie’s paws never had to step foot on the actual ground. Is it possible that mama Oprah is just a little overprotective of her four-legged children after having two of her beloved “babies” come to untimely ends in the past couple of years. Ivan, another cocker spaniel succumbed to a parvovirus in 2009 and Gracie, a golden retriever choked on a ball in 2007.
Still, Oscar winner Sandra Bullock managed to arrive for her Oprah special interview on her own two feet – seems like Sadie could do the same. What do you think — is a dog entourage INSANE??

Oprah loves her dog – good for her! That ‘entourage’ is probably not JUST FOR THE DOG. They are there for Oprah – and O says, ‘please carry my dog so it doesn’t get trampled on and frightened by these crazy people taking countless pictures’!! Is that an outrageous request? Isn’t Oprah entitled to have a dog and spoil it too? All pets should be so lucky!

This is one of the reasons I dislike Oprah. Do you know how much good that money could have done at ONE American homeless shelter?

For your information Oprah has donated thousands of dollars to American homeless shelters!! She has also adopted all of her spaniels from a shelter in Chicago!!
