Amy Winehouse Wants To Share Her Line With You!

This is definitely one celebrity-design venture I didn’t see coming! Amy Winehouse has teamed up with Fred Perry to create a line (of clothing, that is), that’s set to hit stores in October! “Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points,” Fred Perry’s marketing director, Richard Martin, told WWD. The 17-piece collection, that will retail for $32-$150, consists of a palette that’s mostly black and pink, consists of short pencil skirts, polo shirts (with high collars), capri pants, and a mini bowling dress. “We had three major design meetings where she [Amy] was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details,” Martin said. While it will be interesting to see the clothing, I want to know when we can expect a new CD from the singer!
