‘AMERICAN IDOL’ EXCLUSIVE! Kara DioGuardi On Casey James: ‘The Guy Is Hot, But He Is More Than Hot’

Do you think Kara focuses too much on Casey’s good looks and not enough on his talent?
Kara DioGuardi raved so much about American Idol contestant Casey James‘ sexy blond hair and piercing blue eyes she has the entire world calling her a cougar on the prowl. But the 39-year-old (married!) judge told HollywoodLife.com she wants to set the record straight once and for all — she definitely thinks there’s more to Casey than just a pretty face.
“My real opinion is I don’t want to keep stressing how good looking [Casey] is because he is also talented,” Kara told us exclusively at APCH’s forth annual Stars & Strikes celebrity bowling and poker tournament in Los Angeles March 10. “The whole Casey-Kara thing…was funny for one show, but at the end of the day, this is a guy who has potential.”
When the 27-year-old Forth Worth, Texas native first auditioned for Idol, Kara famously had him strip off his shirt so she could see his hot body. From then on, it’s become glaringly obvious to all viewers Kara is one smitten kitten. Or should we say was obvious: Kara ripped the blues singer a new one during the guys’ top 10 week, leaving everyone — including poor Casey — completely and utterly confused.
“I mean the guy is hot, but he is more than hot,” Kara explained to us, adding, “He has a lot of great things about his voice, and you know, this week was better.”
Kara, we agree — Casey’s rendition of Keith Urban’s “You’ll Think Of Me” last night was hot, we mean, well done.

i love the way he looks and sounds i’m so looking forward to buying his cd’s.i think his audence will be 20
s,30,s and 40′s.year olds.i can’t stop looking for anything and everything about him.that’s pretty good when your exwife can’t even say anything about him.he’s such a family man.that’s all he wants to do is visit with his family when he has time.how ever she raised her sons she needs to bottle it and sell it.mrs.james did an awsome job.

i kinda agree with casey it might have helped him get through to the next step.who knows what might have happened if he didn’t take it off.and besides it wasn’t kara that said to take it off.she said to unbutton it.randy said just go ahead and take it off.simon wasn’t gonna give casey a chance to the next level.so im glad kara did what she did.cause i think simon needed to hear more of his singing which he did.

He had me mesmerized last night and for the first time I completely forgot about how incredibly HOT he is and was totally enamored with his beautiful voice and his amazing guitar and mandolin.

Oh i completly agree with scarla i cant stand Kara she’s so annoying!! She just acts like shes soo great and knows everything and she… ugh I just cant stand her!!! Oh Em GEE!!!!!

Kara did a stupid thing letting her hormonal desires be known with Casey. Granted he is talented but when the others think she is sexually interested then it puts undue pressure on them. She should have kept it secret and spoke only about business. If this would have happened in a office setting someone would have been brought up on charges of sexual harassment but it is O.K. that the celebrities ask a guy to take off his shirt at an audition so where are the sexual harassment charges there? It is a double standard.
