The movie did well enough. It was a low-budget film, and with that risky ending, it might have discouraged some of the audience. But it doesn’t matter, because the movie was brilliant… real, raw and meaningful. And Robert did a wonderful job. He proved so much to everyone, that he is willing to take chances and be versatile, and that he has acting skills. Well done, very proud of him. In fact, I’m proud of the whole cast and crew, because it was a challenging film to make, but them took the risk, and it paid off. Ruby is also the new Dakota Fanning, IMO. That little darling is just so talented.

I personally loved “Remember Me.” Both Rob and Emilie did a phenomenal job. I think it proved Rob’s versatility as an actor.
And I agree with you, Josie. People are comparing it to the Green Zone in regards to how much made opening weekend – that aren’t considering the budget of the movie itself.

Boxofficemojo.com has a grading system for every movie, Remember Me has a 70% A grade. Only 17% gave the movie an F grade and the remainder was made up in between. So, if 70 people out of a hundred really liked the movie and rated it an A and only 17 people out of a hundred didn’t like it and gave it an F. That’s pretty darn good IMO.

The movie did not bomb. The budget for this movie was $16M and it made back over half that amount in its first three days of opening. It played in fewer theatres but still had a per theatre average of $3,657. It actually did better than Green Zone, which had a budget of over $100M and went way over even that amount and so far only has a per theatre average of $3,003. If you want to be critical of a movie, go start there.
