Britney Spears and her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick have broken up after dating for about a year! But is this a good thing or a bad thing?
Oops, Britney Spears might be lonely again. After dating on-and-off for nearly a year, the pop princess split from her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick the end of February, reports E! Online.
“They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along,” a source told E!. “They both just needed to take a break from each other. It wasn’t working out.”
Although Britney, 28, and Jason, 38, have cooled their heels personally, the two will continue to work together professionally says William Morris Endeavor, the agency where Jason works as a talent agent.
Don’t write off the romantic relationship altogether, though. This isn’t the first time Jason and Britney have split up — the pair broke it off in December, but reunited and attended the Grammys arm in arm Jan. 31.

I never really believed these two were dating. I just believe Jason was installed in the “boy-friend” role to stick by Britney’s side was she climbed her way back to the top of the charts. Now that she seems to have settled into a healthy parenting, working, and mentally stable routine, her handlers are releasing this reign so she can date. Either way, I am proud of the progress she has made over the past two years and she remains one of the favorite artists in our house.
