We know that two-time co-stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio absolutely adore one another, and we’ve been waiting for years to see the two revisit their epic Titanic love story in real life. But is it about to finally happen?If the reports are true, the Oscar-winning actress, 34, has been leaning on her old co-star for support now that her marriage to husband of seven years, director Sam Mendes, 44, is over.
“Leo and Kate have been like brother and sister since they starred in “Titanic” together. And since Kate’s marriage started to go south, around the time they were filming ‘Revolutionary Road’, they’ve got closer again,” a source tells the UK’s The Sun. “Kate has always really adored Leo and feels like she can tell him anything.”
The same is true for Leonardo, 35. “Kate Winslet is one of my dearest friends,” he told Esquire. “We have the ultimate trust in each other and the best intentions for what we want to do. I knew Kate before Sam even met her.”
He added of their sex scene in Road, “When the scene was about to start, Kate said, in front of the crew, “Wait, wait, this is totally weird.” She turned to both Sam and I and said, “Are you guys okay?” We both looked at each other and said, Yeah, we’re totally fine. She said, “It’s even weirder that you’re both totally fine.”
Very weird indeed, Leo.
For her part, Kate told Entertainment Weekly, “”I hadn’t realized how much my chemistry with [Leo] since `Titanic’ would still stick. It’s great to discover we can just slip right into it, like muscle memory.”
And who can forget her gushing 2008 Oscar acceptance speech, where the British Rose sobbed, “Leo, I’m so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love you and how much I’ve loved your for thirteen years!”
Right.

As mUch as they would make an adorable couple I doubt that Leo- in between his escapade to nail the tallest blondes in Hollywood,would actually fall for a real woman like Kate . Let’s face it, looking at his list of lOvers; gisselle, bar and now blake…he seems to have a ‘ specific type’ when it comes to physicality. Leo strikes me as extremely shallow. As beautiful as Kate is, she isn’t his ‘type.’

Okay, I absolutely love Leo and Kate. I would love to see them together. They have the chemistry of a married couple. Also, Leo has been seen with Kate’s kids all the time. I saw a picture of him with Katie, her daughter Mia, and her son whose name escapes me at the moment. Oddly enough, they looked just like a family. Sam never really looked like he belonged in that family. Leo just fits.
But with everything I have seen and read though, Leo and KAte love eachother way too much to ever get together. THey would ruin what they had. I hope that they do get together and then again, I hope they don’t and just keep making movies together.

I hope that they either: get married and not divorced or stay just friends. If they get married there is always the possibility that they will get divorced, which would be unimaginably depressing. Friends are friends. I think they will always be friends. Thats not a bad thing, right?

I love Leo & Kate together too! I think they would make an absolutely adorable couple and it would be so great to see him with a real woman, not a stick figure with no soul :)
Oh and btw, writer of this story, Kate gushed about Leo during her Golden Globe acceptance speech not the Oscars.

I am hoping the same thing. I would love to see them date but I would really love to see them play in another movie worthy of their talent and love. Sam Mendes’ movie was horrible and I think he tried to downplay their chemistry, but it failed.
