Jennifer Love Hewitt seems fine despite recently splitting from boyfriend of a year Jamie Kennedy – and it’s a good thing, too, given that the comedian was very publicly getting his game on with a hot blond on St. Patrick’s Day!
Jamie, 39, made ‘nice’ with a gorgeous young girl at the opening of Drai’s nightclub in Hollywood March 17. We caught the funnyman in a corner with an unknown blond LA-type. The gal was Jamie’s height and wearing a VERY short and sexy black dress – and even seemed to be laughing at his jokes. What more could a man ask for?
Standing very close together, we could practically see the sexual chemistry crackling! It appeared that they had just met that night, as they swapped phone numbers around 1 A.M. And although the two clearly liked one another, they left separately.
While Jamie was having the luck of the Irish, his ex, 30-year-old Jennifer Love Hewitt, was having a night out with the girls at Chelsea Handler’s Belvedere-sponsored ‘Chelsea Chelsea, Bang Bang’ book launch party.
HollywoodLife.com was also on hand to catch Jen in the act of having a good time hanging with her gal pals in a corner of the Beverly Hilton Hotel’s Bar 210, kicking back, relaxing and enjoying herself.
As Jennifer said in a recent interview with People magazine, “You will not be seeing me swinging from chandeliers with my ‘I’m Single’ shirt on.”
Breaking up is hard to do, Jennifer. Move on at your own pace – even if it IS different from Jamie’s!
