Rosie’s planning a major daytime TV comeback!
With Oprah Winfrey preparing to say goodbye to her long-running show in 2011, we’ll soon be in need of a new daytime TV fix. Enter Rosie O’Donnell! She’s got a new syndicated talk show in the works, according to Showbiz411, and there’s a good chance she’ll be slipping in just as Oprah slips out.
However, Rosie has made it very clear that whatever syndicated talk show she comes up with, it will NOT be a re-hash of her current Sirius radio show. The show, which is still in the early stages of development, would probably bare more similarities to The Rosie O’Donnell Show, which Rosie anchored from 1996 to 2002.
How does this sound to you, BFFs — are you excited for Rosie to get back on the air?

COME-ON……how desperate is TV now adays??? Really??? This woman is the most obnoxious, crude, rude person in the industry. She mouths off, is entirely rude and then thinks she can “pickup” a show that she thinks she deserves. I think its about time, that the production companies and executives takes a closer look of who their promoting because these people are not good examples for our kids or anyone else for that matter. I won’t be watching the show and I know a lot of other people that can’t stand her either. A very bad move by these TV exec’s. GO for someone with class………someone that the general public wants to watch…….Cancel her show before it starts!!!

Actually Oprah’s personally given over $300 million to charity according to Business Week making her the most generous performer in the history of show business. And Oprah’s school in Africa serves HUNDREDS of girls, not just a few. She also built a second school which serves thousands but those schools have been tried before & Oprah wanted to try something different. I don’t see you complaining about schools like Harvard which cost BILLIONS & only serve a few, but it’s some how offensive for poor black girls to get an exclusive education. And how dare you question Oprah’s motivations for giving to charity; how much have you given?

Oprah is a pompous windbag whose 15 minutes went on WAY TO LONG.
She held a ‘ball’, required everyone to wear black and white (the Obama’s attended while he was a Senator), and Oprah wore a HUGE RED DRESS? Who the hell does she think she is, Marie Antoinette?
Supposedly, her dogs have a entourage. Do you know who many homeless people she could feed and shelter with that money?
She build a multi million dollar school in South Africa for a few girls. Had she built a more modest school, she could have educated hundreds, if not thousands with that money. But it was never about the education of the girls. It was about building a monument to Oprah with her name spread across the front.
Rosie has so much less money than Oprah, but it seems has given away and raised so much more for charity, respectively. When Oprah gives away money, it seems to always be a homage to Oprah. It’s never about the charity, it’s always about Oprah the great. But hey, that’s just my opinion. Everybody gets one.
