See if YOU can guess how he answered our question!
Superstar Matt Damon was honored March 27 with the 24th annual American Cinematheque Award in Beverly Hills, and he gave reporters a glimpse into his ideal future: “I think George [Clooney] and Ben [Affleck] and I are very similar in that we all write — I hope to direct, as well — and we all act, so hopefully our careers will take the trajectory of Clint Eastwood‘s and we’ll be around for the next few decades,” he said. And being huge fans of his, we couldn’t help but ask Matt which of his 30+ movies he’s enjoyed working on the most.

He hasn’t written anything in 12 years – why does he always bring up that he “writes” when he doesn’t any more?

For all we know he’s been writing consitently since then, even if it hasn’t made it to the screen.
