Not only that — their daddy Jon Gosselin hasn’t been around very much. (We’ve only seen him once in the past couple months, grocery shopping in Reading, PA Mar. 30 for frozen dinners to eat while watching you on DWTS.)

(cont.) A person who is used to emotionally hiding as a survival defense is particularly suited for forming a complimentary love killing relationship with a bipolar person. This self-sacrificing, self-defeating submissiveness of the partner activates resentment towards the bipolar person’s controlling behavior. Weakness and powerlessness are the result of the failure to stand up and assert oneself in the face of the bipolar person’s constant self-talking (manic phases) and energy drains (depressed stages).
The bipolar’s hypersensitivity to being hurt coupled with paranoia makes a self-defeating partner feel guilty for expressing any displeasure with the bipolar person’s destructive behavior and mood swings. The partner’s loss of self actually reinforces the bipolar’s maladaptive responses. Thus, they find themselves in a never-ending cycle of ups and downs. This dance of non-intimacy provides a very unstable family situation that teeters on dissolution. The bipolar person is constantly engaged in a desperate, frantic attempt to reclaim a lost self, while the self-defeating partner loses whatever sense of self there is.

By the very nature of extreme polar opposite vacillations, the person with bipolar disorder creates an interpersonal world of chaos. To the family members trying to relate to the energy extremes of a person with bipolar disorder, it is a personal nightmare.
Narcissistic over-involvement with the self may make the polar person insensitive and unresponsive to the needs of others. All attention is centered around the excessive ruminations of the bipolar person’s struggle with others. Because of excessive self-concern and histrionic attention seeking behavior, significant others may experience their own loss of self. This sacrifice of a partner’s self into assuming a parental position may actually cause alienation and encourage masochistic survival defenses.

Kate looked mortified during the segment when they were doing the first vote off. In fact, she looked down right angry. She definitely would’ve been a sore loser if voted off. I heard from someone that works on the show that she thinks she’s the biggest star there and walks around with her nose in the air. When Buzz Aldrin tried to introduce himself to her she snubbed him because she thought he was a nobody. She was nicer to him when she found out that he’s one of the first men to walk on the moon. I don’t necessarily like Shannen Doherty but I was hoping that Kate Gosselin would be the first to go. Maybe it would knock her ego down a notch or two.

If she didn’t spend $7,000 to get her hair done she would have money for the kids. Not once did the hair get done, but twice. She decided after she spent all that money she didn’t like it, and spent money again to have it all taken apart. I really don’t think she should be complaining about money.
She treats Tony just like she treated Jon, just like crap.

It’s a photo op when the paps know EXACTLY when Kart is on break. Kart’s assistant/body guard/handler calls the paps to let them know her schedule. Photo op.

please everyone give kate a break.jon does nothing to help her. for every divorced mom raising little kids with no child support. killing themselves to make sure kids have a good home with good food.she does not feed them junk, leave her alone. lets keep behind her for heavensakes . her kids are her life lets stay behind her for what she is doing. think of what your moms had to do to keep food on the table for you when you were a little kid. please vote for her, keep her on the show. thanks from a greatgrandma in fla .ps i will not watch the show if she is voted off.it would be the same old same old stuff.

i would never want my daughter flashed on national tv and to have our life intruded on the way those kids had. however, i am shocked that you people are so self righteous about it. she had 8 kids or whatever, and somebody offered to pay her a lot of money to do something that was a new concept at the time. she chose it, and got money for it, yes- money that she uses to support her kids! jon was fully onboard with this until he was getting cut out, and then suddenly, he says it’s not good for the kids. was it spite? was it benevolence? was it both? i don’t care- but he took away the family’s bread and butter when he had nothing to replace it and no realistic prospects lined up. so, kate has been scrambling to keep the kids afloat in the life they are accustomed to, and she is accustomed to. once having gone down the tv path, her choices became much different than those of yours and mine. so, give me a break with all of these judgments, and all of these self-righteous comments as if with 8 kids to feed (or even 1), any of you would’ve turned down a lucrative tv deal. you wouldn’t have. period. the woman is a strong personality, and i’m pretty sure i wouldn’t get along with her, but i respect her toughness and wish her the best of luck in keeping it up for those kids when she is getting no real support, financial or otherwise, from their father.

How do you know Jon is not helping Kate take care of the kids. Why is so many people jumping on Jon? The way Kate was treating him I am suprised that he stayed as long as he did. Jon opened his eyes and took his balls back.

if jon were with the kids, there would be pictures. i think he’s probably hiding and depressed, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that right now he is good for very little (being generous) to nothing (being true). i don’t care if she’s a b!tch or not, b/c at this point, she has every right to be- she’s manning up and doing what it takes to support her kids. and for everyone that complains about spending this and that on her hair- seriously? give me a f’ing break. if you were going to be on national tv lined up next to the likes of pam anderson and such, you can bet your last dollar that you’d do what you could to get yourself looking as good as possible. stop being ridiculous and acting like she’s somehow a bad person for having her hair done! do you think she’d have a chance at any other gigs if she showed up with flat hair, untanned, bad nails, and no makeup? so FOOLISH these comments!

Kate pays no taxes on income from her investments, paycheck she still receives from contract with TLC, residuals from her show, income from book and DVD sales, income from speaking engagements. The website author loves the easy life like Kate does. She used to make $1 M a year as a magazine editor until she got fired.

yeah, those kids looks SOOO happy.
Happy because they know mommy is leaving again.
I hope she stays on DWTS till the end, even wins. The longer she is away from those kids the better-off everybody is. Jon is with the kids and they love him. Just because he doesn’t take every opportunity to for photo ops doesn’t mean he’s not with the kids.
Team Kids. Team Tony. Kate has no soul.

I love to see her with her kids! She’s a great mom while the loser father is just plain jealous! Of course being the big ole babby he is, he is starting trouble for her and the custody situation. He can’t stand seeing her succeed and having a little time for herself! Time will tell, and I hope to see Kate continue her journey on DWTS! I’m on Kate’s Team!
