Doesn’t Madonna stick out like a sore (yet fashionable) thumb in a third-world country?
Madonna, we think it’s great that you’re making a special trip to Malawi to oversee the construction of a school you’re sponsoring… but I think people would take you a lot more seriously as a philanthropist if you dressed the part! You may be doing incredible charity work, but you look so silly pumping that water in your plaid diaper pants, combat boots and scarf.
I think the Material Mom should take a charity style lesson from the masters of do-goodery, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are currently lending a hand to Bosnian refugees. Angie dresses down in a simple black dress underneath a black coat, while Brad looks even more easy-going in a white shirt and relaxed pair of jeans.
What do you think, BFFs? Is Madonna’s super-chic ensemble appropriate for charity work, or do you think Brad & Angie’s glammed-down style is the way to go?

I agree… what’s up with the jewelries and sunglasses, Madonna? Drop them, it’s not a red carpet event for MTV.

Are you kidding me? Angelina and Brad are wearing designer clothes as well, they just happen to be black and Madonna’s not dressed up-she’s just wearing pants and a jacket. The scarves are usually tied around her waist or she wears loose pants because it’s not proper to wear snug pants in Malawi, according to their beliefs. Honestly, who cares what they’re wearing as long as they do something to help others. You harping on their attire totally points out how the message and example of such great acts of charity flew right over your head. Madonna cares for thousands of children in Malawi and has been doing charity work since before Angelina left elementary school, so stop with this stupidity.

Honestly – she looks great and irrespective…she is doing brilliant humanitarian work. Stop focusing on what she is wearing and congratulate her on her charity and achievement.
Getbacktowork – your posting is pathetic and embarassing. HGet back to work and help someone yourself.

At least she’s covering her nasty ass crotch. But I think she/he has a boner in that diaper. I think a mirror would fix that.

She looks great but not especially chic ! we should aknowledge that’s she’s doing a great job in Africa ! someone said below that “Madonna is embarassing” ! I don’t think the african children that she’s helping right now would agree. that’s stupid !

I love Madonnas Malawi style, its fun, why should she make everyone feel depressed like the Pitts, and dont compare Angelina Jolie to Madonna, she wishes she was like Madonna, we will see what kind of lasting power Angelina has after she turns 40 and they dont give her roles anymore.

Glam? glam? She looks like an old lady wearing hideous clothes that are too big for here. Weird.

Madonna is just a big joke. It’s time for her to disappear. She doesn’t hold a candle to Brad and Angie. And she’s ugly to boot!
