“We are celebrating women that can change the world and have changed the world and who made a huge impact,” adds Jessica. “I don’t know if we’ve had that in a really long time.”
Other celebrity guests who were there to celebrate women included Hilary Duff, Meryl Streep, Aretha Franklin, Martha Stewart and event host of Brooke Shields.

I think women should stop trying to dominate men,as a rule, because, no. 1 , men are getting a little sick of it. You don’t know that women have only been realized as equal partners since the late 1960′s, so get off your high horses girls, the tides can change in a minute, if the men perceive themselves as being made into wimps, you’ll no longer have your way, believe me! Men can be the biggest pricks in the world if they CHOOSE TO BE! So don’t get so full of yourself, or you’ll become that second class citizen we used to be!!!!

well, nobody should be trying to dominate anyone- but, for the record, women are still pretty much treated like 2nd class citizens in most professions, and in most men’s lives. the pay evidence is the most damning- we do more and get paid less, and get less respect.
