It may have taken 6 kids and about five years, but it looks like the once — seemingly impossible has been done — Angelina and Jane Pitt have become happy “in-laws.”
Brad’s mom Jane and husband, Bill arrived in Venice last week to share love and babysitting time, with their six grand babies. Brad, Angie and brood have been ensconced in a grand $6 million palazzo for weeks while Angelina has been shooting the drama/thriller, The Tourist, with Johnny Depp.
There was a time — actually a very long time — when Jane and Angie reportedly had a frosty relationship. Jane was extremely close to Mrs.Pitt #1, Jen Aniston, and maintained a close relationship with her, after the couple split.
Now it appears that the two most important women in Brad’s life, seen here holding 20-month twins, Knox and Vivienne, are finally bonding as a family.
Over the weekend, the elder Pitts, were even left in charge of the twins in Venice, while Angie and Brad took Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, 3, for a quickie trip to the South of France.
Angelina has wisely used her time inVenice to mend fences with her long-estranged dad, Jon Voight, as well. He visited the family at the end of February and later told radaronline that “it was just wonderful to spend time with Angelina and Brad and the children. I’ve been waiting so long to hug my grandchildren and it was amazing, they are the most beautiful, loving kids you could imagine and I’m not just saying that because I’m their grandfather, they really are something special.”
He also gushed about his daughter and Brad: “Angelina and Brad are so happy together and they are the most amazing, loving parents I’ve ever seen. It truly moved me to see how Angie is as a mom, I am so proud of her.”
Bet Jane and Bill are feeling that way now too! Congrats Angie for working to make that happen!

There are plenty of photos over the yers of Angelina and her inlaws together and looking happy. I don’t understand how the tabloids/blogs can get away with saying they hate each when there’s evidence to the contrary.

But they were good during The Oscars of last year too when Brad brought his parents and Angelina to the Oscars. I think it was the Oscars. It was some red carpet event. Anyway, Angelina was very considerate to add Jane into the interview on the red carpet. When Angelina was asked about Brad’s movie, she said something really quick but then turned to Jane and asked, “What do you think?” And Jane smiled and told the interviewee what she thought about Brad’s movie. It was very considerate of Angelina to do that instead of just answering the questions and it’s all about her and her opinions… Angelina has grown up a lot… Her kids have changed her completely!! She is an inspiration for wild kids everywhere…. There is hope!! hehehee

well , i am so happy she has improved things with her dad and with brad’s parents, that is so great. , but now is the time for angelina and brad to get married for the kid’s sake, as this is just not acceptable to be unmarried and have so many children. maddox has been begging them for years. they love their children so much, then, be less selfish and get married….

Not being married does not equate to being selfish. Some couples remain happy together not being married. Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins were happy together for 25 years, it’s sad they have to call it quits, but then 25 years is a long time for a Hollywood couple. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are still together after 27 years.
On other hand, a lot of married couples, Hollywood or even ordinary normal couples, got married and were divorced sooner or later, with a lot going through multiple marriages and divorces.
