OMG! Could An ‘Ugly Betty’ Movie Be In The Works?
Ana Ortiz says it could happen — and I’m totally keeping my fingers crossed!
Hey, Ugly Betty fans! The show may be airing its final episode at 10 p.m. ET tonight on ABC, but don’t start mourning your favorite poncho-wearing fashion editor just yet. According to star Ana Ortiz, you may be seeing her again… real soon! “There may be a movie,” Ana spills to Latina.com. “It’s something that we’ve been talking about, and it’s something that America Ferrera would really love to do.” Be still my Ugly-loving heart. I hope this is happens!
“[America] has so much determination that I can’t imagine anything she puts her mind to not getting done,” Ana says.
And even though Ugly Betty is saying bye-bye to ABC, Ana says she’ll NEVER say goodbye to any of her co-stars. “I’m hanging out with Mark Indelicato on Tuesday and I’m seeing America on Friday,” she tells the site. “I’m still hanging out with all of these people. This is family for life!”
It’s so good to hear the cast will stay close even after it ends… and it’s even better to hear they may be reuniting on the big screen! Would YOU check out an Ugly Betty movie?

Sex In the City can have movies. Why not Ugly Betty.

That would be SOO awesome!! I really think that a movie would be perfect! Ugly Betty is my favorite show, and I need something to look forward to now that it is over :( The ending was a great setup for a film too.

THEY SHOULD DEFENITLY MAKE A MOVIE!!! The show ends tonight and i am rly mad and upset :( I would be the first in the US in line for the movie i love it too much lmfao. Please make a movie, i will never forget the show tho, it really means alot to me.
