Do stars have a right to flip out when they think photogs are taking too many photos of themselves and their girlfriends?
Alexander Skarsgard, is a very protective boyfriend! The True Blood star was spotted at the Coachella Music Festival Apr. 17 with his girlfriend Kate Bosworth and the two seemed all smiles during the day — Kate even took a ride on his shoulders! But when the paparazzi got a little too close he freaked out and almost decked a photographer! Us Weekly reports Alexander became “angered” after a paparazzo kept taking shots of the couple — and a police officer had to restrain him!
The officer must have offered some words of wisdom because the actor composed himself and the situation was resolved.
Alexander isn’t the first celeb to get into a tizzy over wanting some personal space with his GF! This is very reminiscent of actor Sean Penn in the ’80s when he used to get upset at the paparazzi for following him and his ex-wife Madonna. Even Coldplay front man Chris Martin attacked a photographer after he and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow were snapped leaving New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital in Sept of 2009.
We definitely know what makes these guys tick … but should Alexander have gotten so upset? Tell us what you think!

well in my opinion it’s kinda both. cause he had the right to do that cause those paparazzi don’t know how to give someone their PRIVACY!!! but then again he IS famous so he should expect something like that to happen. so to me it’s both.

This is news…why? Geez, I’d bet just about every star freaks out at one point or another. Take Johnny Depp for example, he flips if you try to snap pics of his kids, or Russell Crowe, who just about tore off the heads of photographers who chased his wife and almost knocked her down when she was preganant. I say good for Alex. There’s a line and paparazi have the habit of jumping over it in leaps and bounds. Everyone deserves a little privacy. Yeesh.

This is old news. Just because this article says it was over Kate, doesn`t mean it`s true. Of course he has a right to a little privacy, even though he is at a public event doesn`t mean he has to put up with people constantly in his face. He has a right to go out to wherever he wants and enjoy himself. Why should he be a recluse because of the paparazzi? He is an actor because he loves doing it, and is darn good at it! I`ve seen him in interviews on the street where he`s being asked about his work or something like that. but when they come up and ask stupid questions like “who`s a better kisser, Lady Gaga or Kate”, he just ignores them. Can you blame him? Maybe if some of the paparazzi acted more responsibly, celebs would be more apt to talk a little.

He wasn’t out of line. The paprazzi get too close for comfort and can be rude. They call out to the actors and treat them like animals.

Just because you go start acting doesn’t mean that you get all the glitz and glam. He loves acting as he did with he first passion and didn’t anticipate True Blood being such a huge hit. So screw the papparazzi and let him have his privacy.

If he wanted to stay out of the spotlight, then he should have not come back into acting! Maybe his first gut feelings as a teenager are still true! Too late, you are not somewhat famous! Smile for the cameras!!
