During an interview on his radio show, Ryan hinted that Kate might be making more than the other celebrities on Dancing With the Stars – and she was shocked!
Is Kate Gosselin really the highest-paid celebrity on DWTS? Just ask Ryan Seacrest – he seems to know all the secrets of the Stars! During an interview with the reality mom on his radio show April 19, the host hinted that Kate might make more than her fellow contestants!
“Do you think everyone is paid the same?” the 35-year-old demanded before admitting, “I looked at the budget. You’re doing quite well.”
“How would I know? It’s all the same. It’s not all the same? I have no idea!” the Twist of Kate star, also 35, laughed.
When Ryan suggested that Kate might have been aware that she made more green than fellow contestants Pamela Anderson, Chad Ochocinco, Erin Andrews, Niecy Nash, Nicole Scherzinger, Evan Lysacek and Jake Pavelka, the mom of eight really DID seem flabbergasted.
“Yeah, that’s what I think [that we make the same amount]. Everybody’s paid equally. I don’t know. I take stuff if it’s fair to me and it’ll pay the bills and it’s worth my time away from the kids.”
Well, Kate, one thing is for sure. Whether or not you’re making the MOST money of anyone on Dancing With the Stars, the show is clearly worth your time if money-making machine Ryan Seacrest thinks you’re doing well!

I don’t understand why this woman is relevant! ARe ppl too stupid to see that she’s a phony? She’s playing up to the camera, in order to remain and or increase her 15 mins.

i don’t think kate can go in the “15 minutes” category! she’s had a tv series for YEARS, and is just starting one or two more! as for the ‘phony’ part… well, i think that is the irrelevant part- whether she is fake. kate is ‘relevant’ b/c she’s a single mom trying to raise a billion kids. it’s interesting to see how she does it, fake or not. it doesn’t have to mean people are stupid that they’re interested in it.

andy! lol… first, YOU’RE not giving her any money, are you?!?! lol… and by “more”, when did you give her money before?! yah, yah, i get it… i’m being too literal. i do like the ham sandwiches line, but, was definitely surprised to see such a harsh post from a staffer! (i don’t know why that is surprising to me, but, it is!)
