Who knew that cast members were fans too? They’re just as sad as us to see Lost end!
It’s the end of an era and Rebecca Mader, who plays Dr. Charlotte Staples Lewis on ABC’s Lost agrees! “I’m actually sad as a fan that it’s ending,” she admitted to HollywoodLife.com at the 2010 Verizon NFL Draft Eve Event at restaurant Abe & Arthur’s in NYC on Apr. 21. “I don’t know what I’m going to do!”
Though Rebecca is sad she will no longer be able to get a tan while filming in Hawaii, she’s more upset about Lost being in it’s final season because she won’t be able to watch it on TV anymore. “When I watch an episode, I enjoy it more because I’m not thinking what I’m doing,” she said. “It’s really sad because I’m a fan of the show and I prefer it more when I’m not on it.”
So she won’t miss seeing herself on TV? “I hate watching myself,” she added. “It makes me want to puke!”
As a cast member, she does know the SECRETS about the finale. Unfortunately, she couldn’t share them with us: “I am heavily medicated with anti-truth serum,” she said!
That’s just not fair that Rebecca wouldn’t unveil the hidden truths. As a fan herself, she knows how long we have been waiting to learn the answers. But, in a way we have to thank her for not spoiling the ending for us. If she had, it would have killed the excitement and wonder we have been building up through all six seasons.
