We bet this is especially good news for Simon’s fiancée, Mezhgan Hussainy!

O’Really – there are foreigners who make more money than Americans so i think that’s a pretty naive way to look at it. he’s successful and makes the show what it’s become. should it be skewed the way it is? probably not. but should he make more? absolutely. ratings are definitely gonna go down once he’s off.

Considering the fact that Cowell made more money than all the U.S. citizen judges combined did not fare well with me. After all wasn’t the show about Americans? Considering who the other judges were, the gross lack of pay equity made the show’s administrators appear sexist and racist. For heaven’s sake, what kind of visa work permit does Cowell have that allows him to earn more than American citizens performing the same job??

I love Simon and I believe “IDOL” is loosing the most important factor for the program’s success. The show can take the loss of Abdul and even Jackson but Cowell leaving is devasting.
