‘AMERICAN IDOL’ BEHIND-THE-SCENES: Are Lee & Siobhan In Love? It Looks That Way!
Friends or BF and GF? The way Lee DeWyze reacted when Siobhan Magnus got voted off Idol last night was touching — as was the way she took comfort in his arms!
I was shocked that Siobhan Magnus was sent packing from American Idol April 28 for her rendition of Shania Twain’s “Any Man of Mine” (the audience seemed to think Big Mike Lynche was going home and I personally wanted Aaron Kelly gone a long time ago) — but I wasn’t half as dismayed as the judges’ golden boy Lee DeWyze. The dude was so unhappy that he looked like he was going to cry…but what else is new?
Big Mike, Siobhan and my rocker hottie Casey James were all in the bottom three, but when Mikey boy was saved, Lee started to get nervous. The 24-year-old Mount Prospect, Illinois native paced the stage until he was forced to sit down during the final elimination. When host Ryan Seacrest declared Casey, 27, safe, Lee put his head in his hands while earth mother ‘Mama’ Crystal Bowersox rubbed his back to console him.
But wait…it gets better! While Siobhan, 20, watched her American Idol journey unfold on film, Lee kept on trying to get to his girl, but was repeatedly stopped by stagehands. When he was finally allowed to console Siobhan, the moment was priceless! She wrapped her arms around him and didn’t let go for two minutes. (Big Mike tried to get in there, too, but she paid no attention to him). She briefly hugged the other contestants, but was right back in Lee’s arms.
Let’s not forget that Lee, Siobhan and Mike all got tattoos together last weekend to commemorate their Idol experience. We know that Lee’s ink was the Chicago flag (lame), but maybe these two secret Idol lovers should have gotten hearts and flowers.
What else did you miss? Cameron Diaz was on hand to promote Shrek Forever After, and, as per usual, Big Mike, 26, wasn’t shy about grabbing Cammy girl for a hug. More surprisingly, Siobhan also wanted some loving from the bubbly blond 37-year-old actress.
Judge Kara DioGuardi and Siobhan are TIGHT. In addition to a lengthy pep talk post elimination, Kara, 39, ran up to the Marstons Mills, Mass. native AGAIN to let her know how much she was loved. Aw.

But back to Siobhan and Lee. My personal wish is for them to become this year’s Anoop Desai and Megan Joy Corkery. Do you?

Okay … I noticed Lee was trying to hold Siobhan’s hands as they were walking out of the Alice Cooper performance

Wow. First of all, half the things on all these hollywood websites arent true, and they are probably just really good friends. Not everyone who hug a lot date. Lee himself admited hes a hugger.

why oh why do i ever click on a hollywoodlife link?? everything ive ever read has been contrived and super inaccurate. go and take a journalism class, writers! ever heard of being great friends who have grown closer throughout a competition where youre tossed together with a random bunch of people?!

I remember when Alex was voted off, Siobhan was so sad & crying. It was Lee who comfort her by rubbing her shoulder.

Oh no please!!! Siobhan is way tooooo beautiful for Lee! She could do better that him. As for this sham of a show American Idol, it is best known for NOT letting the really talented star material win, so I am not at all surprised at this development!

Thats really sweet if theyre together They both seem realy nice good for them!I think everyone should stop picking on Aaron He is an amzing kid with Amazing talent do we really need another Unamrried mother for the next American Idol She \can”t hold a candle to Kris Carrie David or even Jordyn! Im not at all impressed by her ot her attitude!Meanwhile evryone is trying to tear apart a 17 year old kid not right! Even EVryones boy frm last season Adam said Aaron impressed him I liked Shioban too and I hope Aaron makes it farther than Crystal Mike or Casey! I really hope he wins actually!

Interesting hearts aflutter stuff…what I noticed watching was that Siobhan wanted no part of Ryan or the Idol stage at the end..she just wanted her family.
The whole Shrek segment was bad weird and Antonio Banderas looked like a little old man next to Cameron.

i was okay with siobhan leaving, and was also glad she chose the aretha song to leave on b/c it really highlighted all the great things about her voice. the shania song didn’t, along with her last couple of choices. in any case, i was relieved to see casey will make it another week at least, and was glad it wasn’t big mike b/c i just didn’t even have it in me to listen to him perform again in a farewell… though, i did always like his ‘this is a man’s world’ song, but he’d probably choose whatever made kara cry (and made me want to fist her). i understand your feelings about aaron, laura, but he is just too much of an angel for me to want him to go. he’ll only be another couple of weeks or so. don’t get impatient. he won’t steal a winner’s spot. now, moving on… megan and anoop?! where have i been?!?

No way Siobhan sucks. You don’t know good singing when you hear it; instead, you get opinions from Simon.
No interest in the show anymore, no one is as interesting as Siobhan.
