Official Update: Bret Michaels Experienced A ‘Minor Setback’ In His Recovery Today

A side effect from his initial brain hemorrhage has slowed his recovery process, but doctors are still optimistic!

Still under 24/7 doctor surveillance, Bret Michaels, 47, recently underwent a test that showed he is suffering from hyponatremia — a lack of sodium that can cause seizures. It was a side effect from the brain hemorrhage Bret suffered Apr. 23, and in a statement on Bret’s official Web site posted Apr. 27, his spokeswoman said it has caused a “setback in Bret’s condition.” Read more
