Awards season may be over, but the A-listers flocked to the Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 3 looking better than ever! From Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, Naomi Watts, Anne Hathaway, and Kate Hudson– (who were by far my faves!)– to Nicole Richie, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, and Jessica Biel, the evening was even more glam than the Oscars! To me: #2 are Emme Watson & Blake Lively, #1 is ANNE HATHAWAY. They’re just GORGEOUS! ( And the worst is T.S)

agreed re demi. i liked blake’s but wasn’t in the mood for the shortness (which also made me dislike gisele’s dress which was interesting, but too short and obvious- it it okay for me to be tired of models in ultrashort dresses?)

emma always is gorgeous… adore her. hope she doesn’t ever turn hauty or slutty like so many starlets who try to lose their young girl image. hopefully she’ll go the natalie portman road and always stay above that.

I think Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, J.Lo are my top three. I don’t love Sienna’s dress, but do love the shoes! And Blake Lively doesn’t look so great in this shot here, but I saw her pic (from a different angle) on another website and she looked amazing!

think i’m in the minority, but for the actual dresses- i liked marion cottilard with the longsleeved sparkly christian dior number the most, with emma watson (burberry), kate hudson (love stella mccartney), and ivanka very close behind… most of them looked great (definitely remove stupid katy perry from that “most”), tho. shocked that people liked taylor’s dress. i’m sort of over this look of hers and am ready for her to have some sort of transformation w/hair-do and stuff; and definitely am over ralph lauren, been over him for a long time.

i didn’t see mila’s picture? the other two- you obviously have a very classic taste. anne always looks like a princess to me, and i love that she does it even with a somewhat unique beauty. good choice.

i’m not really into satin gowns, but if any body should be draped with one, it’s jessica’s. her figure is flawless, tho could be a little softer. i would kill to have her body (tho not her fashion sense).
