Oprah Winfrey finally got close-lipped couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to admit what we’ve known all along — that they’re boyfriend and girlfriend!

At long, long last,  sexy Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have both admitted they are a couple – to Oprah Winfrey! When the pair filmed  filmed the show, with Eclipse co-stars Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning May 5, “Rob and Kristen confirmed to Oprah backstage they are, in fact, dating”, reports E! Online. Well duh!

An Oprah show insider said, “We were all briefed before the show how to handle the talent. Part of what we were told was that Robert and Kristin are dating”, adding,  “Obviously Oprah had to ask something during the taping, but agreed beforehand she wouldn’t be too hard on [Rob and Kristen] if they told her what was really going on. Both Rob and Kristen’s people and Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent.”

Robert had previously stated he was dating Kristen, but Kristen has never acknowledged their relationship – no matter how may pubs the pair were caught kissing in! Now if only Oprah had gotten the two to fess up on her show! Sigh. Guess we’ll have to wait until the episode airs on Rob’s birthday, May 13, to see what she DID pull out of them!
